Islah Party turns schools into detentions in Taiz: Activists

TAIZ, Jan. 26 (YPA) – The Saudi-led coalition-backed Islah Party militants continued to turn several schools into detentions in Hadi government-held areas of Taiz, according to activists.

Arwa Al-Shamiri, the activist and lawyer, loyal to the coalition, said on Facebook that the Islah party refused to evacuate the Sabaa school, which is located between residential neighborhoods in the center of Taiz.

Al-Shamiri clarified that a citizen named Ayman Al-Wahbani was killed after being arrested in one of the classrooms of the school.
