SOCOTRA, Jan. 25 (YPA) – The Emirati forces stopped on Monday the work in the port of the occupied Socotra island, according to sources.
The sources affirmed that UAE soldiers working for the Emirati Crescent have stopped work on the program to develop the final stage of the port.
The soldiers forced the officials on the project to halt the rehabilitation of the Socotra Port Administration building, funded by the Saudi reconstruction program, since the begging of 2020.
The sources pointed out that the pro-Emirati leader, Issa Ali Issa Bin Afrar, issued threats against the contractor if he continued to work at the port.
