Yemen army foils infiltration attempts of Saudi-backed militia over past 3 days in Harad

HAJJAH, May 25 (YPA) –In the past three days, Harad front in Hajjah province witnessed fierce fighting between the Yemeni army and Saudi-backed militias.

The Yemeni army foiled since last Tuesday infiltration attempts by the Saudi-Backed militias from inside Jizan towards the customs of Haradh over the past three days, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

The infiltration attempts were backed by intensive air strikes cover by Saudi-led coalition forces, the official added.

Dozens of militias were killed and others injured during their failed attempt to make progress in the ground.

The official said that the Yemeni army destroyed 13 military vehicles belonging to the Saudi-backed militias in Harad front.
