Fighting between Aden’s rival forces resumed 

ADEN, Jan. 29 (YPA) – Fierce clashes between Saudi-backed militias loyal to resigned president Abd Rabbu Hadi and UAE-backed southern separatist transitional council resumed early on Monday in Yemen’s southern port city of Aden, the Yemen Press Agency correspondent reported. 

 
ADEN, Jan. 29 (YPA) – Fierce clashes between Saudi-backed militias loyal to resigned president Abd Rabbu Hadi and UAE-backed southern separatist transitional council resumed early on Monday in Yemen’s southern port city of Aden, the Yemen Press Agency correspondent reported. 
 
The fighting came a day after the deadly street fighting erupted, which have so far killed at least 12 people, wounded more than 130 others and paralyzed the city. 
 
The infighting was covered by heavy fly of UAE Apaches over the city. 
 
The fresh clashes renewed in Mansurah district between the UAE-backed separatist militias and the so-called presidential protection forces loyal to Hadi after the latter attempted to shut a key regular road in the area. 
 
Heavy weapons were used in the ongoing clashes as huge explosions could be heard rocking the war-torn city.
