Explosion targets International Coalition logistical convoy in west of Baghdad

BAGHDAD, Jan. 22 (YPA) – An Iraqi security source reported that an explosion targeted a convoy of logistical support for the International Coalition west of the capital, Baghdad.

Al-Sumeria News quoted the source as saying that an improvised explosive device exploded targeting  a logistics convoy belonging to the international coalition forces in Abu Ghraib, west of Baghdad.

The source explained that the explosion occurred while the convoy was passing on the Abu Ghraib highway.

He added the blast injured a member of the security company.
