Senior US officials are on Iranian ban list: Foreign Ministry

TEHRAN, Jan. 20 (YPA) – Spokesman for the Iranian Foreign Ministry, Saeed Khatibzadeh, on Tuesday announced the listing of names of a number of senior US government officials, including the outgoing US President Donald Trump, on the ban list in Iran.

According to the spokesman, among the banned officials are also the US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, former Secretary of Defense Mark Esper, Acting Secretary of Defense Christopher Miller, Treasury Secretary Stephen Mnuchin, and other officials, who have been involved in terrorist measures against the Islamic Republic of Iran and its citizens.

Khatibzadeh announced that the Iranian Foreign Ministry would later issue a statement on the details of the crimes of the aforementioned American persons.
