ICRC’s health interventions in Hajjah discussed
HAJJAH, Jan. 19 (YPA) – Director of the branch of the Supreme Council for Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and International Cooperation, Allan Fada’el, on Tuesday discussed with the health official of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), Yonex Kyabo, the committee’s interventions in the health sector.
The meeting reviewed the ICRC’s interventions at the dialysis center in Hajjah city, the Red Crescent Division in Abs district, and the mechanism for enhancing cooperation and partnership between the two sides.
In the meeting, Fada’el praised the ICRC’s contributions to alleviating some of the suffering of the displaced and those affected by the continuing aggression and siege.
He confirmed the Council’s keenness to expand services through building new departments in the Red Crescent Division in Abs.
For his part, The ICRC’s official appreciated the facilities provided by the Council’s branch, noting that the aim of his visit is to see the progress of work on the ICRC-funded projects during 2020, and to raise the required needs to be included in the current year’s plan.
