3 people injured in collapse of residence building in Aden

ADEN, Jan. 17 (YPA) – At least three people were injured on Sunday in the collapse of an apartment building in Al-Mualla city of Aden province, southern Yemen.

Eyewitnesses reported that an old building collapsed in Al-Mualla neighborhood, wounding three people, one of them seriously, while the rest of the building’s residents were evacuated by paramedics.

Mualla is one of the most famous ancient cities in Aden, whose construction dates back more than half a century, and most of its buildings have become ramshackle due to natural factors and the absence of maintenance and restoration.
