NCM calls on citizens to take necessary precautions against cold wave

SANAA, Jan. 17 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) on Sunday called on citizens, especially the elderly, children and the sick people, to take the necessary precautions to face a cold wave within the coming hours.

In a weather forecast, the NCM expected that the wave would prevail over the mountain heights of the provinces of Saada, Amran, Sanaa, Dhamar and Bayda, Ibb, Dhalea, Taiz, Lahj, Abyan during the night and early morning.

The center warned also farmers, herders and beekeepers of the extreme cold wave.
