Tehran conducts exercises with long-range anti-ship missiles

SANAA, Jan. 17 (YPA) – The Iranian Revolutionary Guards conducted the final phase of the “Great Messenger” maneuvers, by launching long-range anti-ship ballistic missiles.
The commander of the Aerospace Force of the Revolutionary Guards, Brigadier Amir Ali Hajizadeh, emphasized that missile capabilities are a means of creating power and security for the Iranian people.
In statements carried by the Iranian “Fars” news agency, Zadeh said, “If our enemies want someday to make evil moves, this is part of the use of fixed and ground bases, which were practiced in the first phase of the maneuvers by using drones and surface-to-ground missiles, and the second threat to him. Naval side, and it was met well in the final stage of the exercises. ”
He added, “Our goal today was to destroy the enemy fleet in the northern Indian Ocean, 1,800 kilometers away, when ballistic missiles were fired at the area, destroying the specified targets.”
“If the capabilities of our enemies become ineffective within a range of 2000 km, they will in fact face inefficiency, and they will not be able to launch cruise missiles, and their aircraft will not be able to take off from these ships anymore,” he said.
