One killed, five wounded in clashes in Taiz

TAIZ, Jan. 15 (YPA) – At least one citizen was killed and five others injured during in clashes broke out between two families in Taiz province, southwestern Yemen, local sources said on Friday.

According to local sources in the province, the  clashes took place between two families as a result of a dispute over a  land in Al Mawasit District.

The sources explained that the clashes left one dead and five wounded. The injured were taken to Khalifa Hospital in Al-Turbah City.

It is worth mentioning that the areas under the control of al-Islah in Taiz are experiencing a breakdown of security and a rise in the level of committing crimes and violations  against  the citizens.
