Al-Sami’e chairs meeting to discuss service needs in Sanaa

SANAA, Jan. 14 (YPA) – Member of the Supreme Political Council, Sultan Al-Sami’e, chaired on Thursday a meeting to discuss urgent developmental and service needs of both the Capital city and Sanaa province.

At the meeting, attended by Prime Minister Dr. Abdulaziz bin Habtoor, Minister of Local Administration, Ali Al-Qaisi, reviewed the activities implemented at the level of the ministry and local units during the past year and plans for the year 2021.

In turn, Mayor of the capital Sanaa, Hamoud Obad, gave a presentation about the current conditions of the capital and its work plan for the current year, which focused on urgent priorities.

Al-Sami’e praised the role of the Capital’s Mayor and the leadership of Sanaa province and their remarkable activity, especially in the field of services and infrastructure projects.

He stressed the need for effective coordination between the leaderships in the capital and the province to achieve tangible positive steps that serve citizens.
