Shabwa governor survives assassination attempt

SHABWA, Jan. 13 (YPA) – Shabwa governor, Mohammad Saleh bin Adiu, appointed by the Saudi-backed Hadi government survived on Wednesday an assassination attempt in the province, according to sources.

The sources affirmed that two bodyguards of the governor belonging to Islah Party were killed when a military vehicle blasted in al-Sa’aid area of the province.

The sources indicated that bin Adiu was subjected to an assassination attempt while returning from the opening ceremony of Qena Port in the province.
