Al-Houthi: US designation against Ansar Allah attempts to cover its fragile democracy

SANAA, Jan. 11 (YPA) – Member of the Supreme Political Council, Mohammad Ali Al-Houthi, confirmed that the United States has tried to distract the World’s attention from its fragile democracy by designating Ansar Allah as a terrorist movement.

Al-Houthi said on Twitter, Mike Pompeo’s remarks, the US Secretary of State, about the designation is an attempt to escape the security chaos witnessing his country.

“Pompeo’s remarks against Ansar Allah is a cover for US terrorism and media consumption,” he added.
