Two Arabian leopards killed by coalition-backed militias: residents

DHALEA May 24 (YPA) – Militias backed by Saudi-led coalition have killed two Arabian leopards in Yemen’s southern province of al-Dhalea, residents said.

Yemeni activists have circulated photos over the past two days via social media, showing the militias while holding the two leopards and opening fire at them.

The incident took place in Shoaib area, which is under the militias control. Residents said the incident is the latest in a series of attacks against the wild animals in the area, recalling that at least ten tigers were killed since the beginning of Ramadan.
