Saudi occupation changes name of schools with Saudi cities’ names

MAHRAH, Jan. 3 (YPA) – Hamid Zabenot, chairman of the sit-in committee in the Shahin district in Mahra province, on Sunday rejected Saudi Arabia’s move to change the name of schools in the province.

“What the Saudi program has done is funding the purchase of books and office supplies in schools and has nothing to do with the construction of these schools to be renamed,” Zabenot said in a tweet on Sunday.

” Our brothers in Oman have provided projects and support the people of Mahrah, Socotra and all parts of Yemen and not to cause any harm, or seek to change the names of the projects and seen it as their duty and commitment to their brothers and neighbors,” Zabenot added.

For his part, the official spokesman of the sit-in committee Ali Mubarak Mahamid, said that the decision of education in the province to name of the schools with Saudi regions and cities is a flagrant violation add to a number of violations committed by  Saudi occupation of against the national sovereignty in Mahrah.
