Coalition escalates military in Hodeidah

HODEIDAH, Jan. 2 (YPA) – The US-backed Saudi-led aggression coalition continued on Saturday its military escalation in several areas of Hodeidah province, a security source told Yemen Press Agency.

The source announced that coalition’s warplanes launched three air raids on al-Salif district, coincided with flying of fighter jets over Kilo 16 area in a new escalation and clear violation of Sweden’s agreement.

This escalation was added to 132 breaches of Sweden’s and ceasefire agreements committed by coalition’s mercenaries over the past 24 hours, according to a statement issued by Correlation and Coordination Operations Room.

On Friday, coalition’s troops committed a crime against civilians due to an artillery bombing targeted a wedding hall in al-Hook district, killing and injuring ten civilians, most of them women and children.
