Islah militants impose new royalties in Taiz

TAIZ, Dec. 31 (YPA) – The Saudi-backed Islah militants have imposed new royalties on shopkeepers in the Saudi-led coalition held areas Taiz city.

According to sources, the militants imposed an amount of 110 dollars on each store, claiming that surveillance cameras were installed to detect crimes in those areas.

The sources indicated that the new royalties caused widespread discontent among the shop owners, pointing out that the imposed royalties have doubled their suffering.
