Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune returns to his country

SANAA, Dec. 30 (YPA) – Algerian state television published pictures of President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, after his return from Germany, where he was receiving treatment for infection with the Coronavirus.
The presidential plane landed at Boufarik military airport on Tuesday evening, and Tebboune was received by senior state officials, according to state television.
After his arrival in Algeria, Tebboune said: “The distance from the homeland is difficult and the accumulation of responsibilities is more difficult,” adding: “I thank God for this auspicious return to Algeria.”
Tebboune hopes that the New Year 2021 will be “full of goodness and will be much better than last year for the Algerian people.”
Tebboune traveled to Germany on October 28 for treatment after being infected with the new Corona virus, and he had addressed the Algerians a few days ago and reassured them of his health.
