ADEN, Dec. 30 (YPA) – Violent explosions were heard, followed by clashes, on Wednesday night in the vicinity of Maasheeq Palace, which Saudi-backed Hadi’s government has taken as its headquarters in the port city of Aden, in southern Yemen.
Local sources reported the loudness of three intermittent explosions in the surrounding area of the palace, in which the members of the new “Hadi government” are residing in Crater district.
The sources added that sounds of clashes were heard after the explosions, noting to the deteriorating security situation in the city.
Earlier in the day, Aden Airport was subjected to missile strikes during the landing of a plane carrying the new “Hadi’s government” this afternoon, which left deaths and injuries.
