MARIB, Dec. 26 (YPA) – The army and popular committees have imposed their control over new military sites belonging to Saudi-led coalition at Madghal front, northwest of Marib city, local sources reported on Saturday.
The sources confirmed that Sanaa forces have taken control of most of the sites of the so-called “117th Brigade” belonging to the coalition, after the brigade’s staff officer, Major General Mohammed Hassan Al-Humiqani, was killed on Friday, along with dozens of officers, at Madghal Al-Jadaan front.
The army and the popular committees had taken control of the brigade’s sites in ‘Al-Khrariba’ area, southeast of Madghal, and tightened their control over ‘Al-Najaf’ and ‘Wadi Al-Samda’ areas, according to the sources.
The sources pointed out the coalition militants suffered big human and material losses on Madghal front.
