12,000 of coalition recruits returned to homeland since beginning of amnesty general

SANAA, Dec. 25 (YPA) – The official in the fifth military region said that the total number of returnees defected from the ranks of Saudi coalition on the western coast and Haradh border fronts since the beginning of the amnesty until December 2020 reached to 12,000  recruits.

There are thousands of people who have been lured by the coalition and intend to return home,” Brig. Gen. Riyadh Balthi told  Yemen Press Agency on Friday.

 He stressed that the army and popular committees will embrace all returnees and they  will be secured,  and will facilitate their passage through all checkpoints and ensure their return to their villages and families.

 The official affirmed that some of those still in the coalition’s side had been coordinated and would be brought home in the right time.
