Houthi offers condolences to Yahya Mohammed Abdullah Saleh over his son’s death
SANAA, May 23 (YPA)- Head of Supreme Revolutionary Committee Mohammed Ali Al-Houthi sent on Tuesday a cable to offer condolences to Yahya Mohammed Abdullah Saleh over the heath of his son Kanaan Yahya Mohammed Abdullah Saleh, son of the former president Saleh’s nephew.
In a tweet, he said “our condolences to you on the death of your son Kanaan. May Allah Almighty make him live in his paradise and inspire you and his family with patience and fortitude? We are to God and to Him we return).
Kanaan’s death was a surprise. Some said he died in a traffic accident in Muscat, while others said the death was due to a health problem.
Yahya Saleh said, on his Facebook page, that his son died because of his severe grief over his grandfather Saleh, who was killed during the events of December 2017 sedition in the capital Sanaa.
Kanaan is Saleh’s grandson from his eldest daughter Balqis, who has been divorced from her cousin Yahya Mohammed Saleh several years ago, and he has been in Oman for a period.
