Saudi Arabia closes Yemeni crossing to travelers

SANAA, Dec. 21 (YPA) – Saudi Arabia has closed Al-Wadiah border crossing point in Sharourah area of Hadramout province, east of Yemen to dozens of Yemeni travelers.

According to sources on Monday, the travelers were surprised that the Saudi authorities closed the land crossing after completing Covid-19 examination procedures and many medical procedures required by the Saudi regime.

The sources pointed out that Saudi Arabia has allowed the Yemeni travelers to leave its lands towards Yemen through the crossing, while preventing entry, referring to the accumulation of travelers in front of the crossing in large numbers.
