Attorney General calls for doubling efforts to combat corruption

SANAA, Dec. 20 (YPA) – Attorney General Judge Nabil Al-Ezzani on Sunday called for doubling efforts to combat corruption.

At the conclusion of a training course on financial and accounting work for managers of finance in the appeals prosecution, Al-Ezzani said that combating financial and administrative corruption is a joint responsibility for everyone to advance the role of state institutions, including the Public Prosecution, and promoting the rule of law.

He called upon the participants to strengthen supervision and preserve seizures, revenues and amounts of the state based on the methodology they received during the course.

Al-Ezzani pointed out that the ongoing reforms by the work components of the Public Prosecution are carried out according to a scientific methodology and programs and plans of the National Vision to build the modern Yemeni state.

The Attorney General said, “The opportunity is available to everyone for creativity, distinction, effort and giving, just as the heroes of the Yemeni army on the fronts who defend the people and security and stability of Yemen.”

He touched on the need for concerted efforts to upgrade the role of the prosecution in the judicial, technical, administrative and financial disciplines.

Judge Al-Ezzani valued the support provided by the revolutionary leadership and the Supreme Political Council to the Judicial Authority in resolving disputes and bringing justice to citizens.
