Killer of public works’ employees arrested: Interior Ministry

SANAA, Dec. 20 (YPA) – The Interior Ministry’s Spokesman, Brigadier General Abdulkhaleq Al-Ajri, announced on Sunday the arrest of the killer of the public works office’s employees in the old Sanaa city while carrying out their duty in organizing Bab al-Yemen markets.

“The security services in the capital Sanaa, in coordination with the agencies in Dhamar province, arrested in record time the perpetrator of the murder, called Yunus Abdulaziz Mohammed Al-Sharifi,” said Al-Ajri in a statement.

The Interior Ministry spokesman indicated that Al-Sharifi was arrested at ‘ Aishan’ point in Utma district of Dhamar.

On Saturday, the public works employees were targeted by shooting while organizing the popular markets in Bab Al-Salam and Bab Al-Yaman areas, which led to the killing of three and three others were wounded.
