Oil Minister: Coalition plunders over $ 3 billion of Yemeni oil revenues

SANAA, Dec. 14 (YPA) – Yemen Minister of Oil and Minerals, Ahmed Dares, revealed here on Monday that the Saudi-led coalition stole and plundered 3 billion and 500 million dollars of the revenues of Yemeni oil during the years “2018-2019”.

Dares told Al Masirah TV, that the big sums looted by the coalition have been deposited in the Saudi National Bank and banks in Riyadh and elsewhere.

The minister pointed out that the coalition looted in 2018 18 million and 80 thousand barrels of crude oil from the occupied oil fields, which were sold for about $ 1.3 billion, as well as over 29 million and 600 thousand barrels of crude oil was stolen and sold for over 2.3 billion dollars by the coalition forces in the occupied oil fields in 2019.

Dares affirmed that the stolen sums of crude oil revenues from Safir in and Aden refineries were able to cover the salaries of state employees and other needs of the country.

“The mercenary authorities in Marib loot 600 million Yemeni riyals daily, which is the value of the proceeds of the products of the Safir oil and gas derivatives, and they have sold the “c5″ material produced from the Safir fields at a value of 100 million riyals per day to the coalition countries,” he added.
