Number of sports fans injured in Lahj

LAHJ, Dec. 12 (YPA) – A number of sports fans were injured on Saturday by gunfire inside a stadium in Lahj province, medially sources told Yemen Press Agency.

The sources mentioned that elements of the southern transitional militias who control the stadium fired a barrage of live bullets at the fans at the end of a football match in Maawia stadium in al-Hwta city.

Fistfight happened among the fans due to the result of the match, the sources declared.

The sources confirmed that the southern militants shot at the fans in order to stop their clash.
