Yemen discusses with FAO aspects of cooperation

SANAA, Dec. 12 (YPA) – Yemen discussed on Saturday with the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) aspects related to enhancing cooperation.

During a meeting gathered deputy ministry of foreign affairs for Political Affairs, Nabil Ahmed Al-Ghouli, and the representative of the FAO to Yemen, Hussein Jadin.

Al-Ghouli affirmed the support provided by the FAO next year should meet the needs of the Yemeni farmer of agricultural machinery and equipment, stressing the full readiness to provide all facilities that serve the FAO office.

The meeting praised the role played by the FAO office in the agricultural sector in Yemen, especially in the area of locust control.
