Protests demand departure of UAE troops from Al-Rayyan Airport

HADHRAMOUT, Dec. 12 (YPA) – A number of activists on Thursday staged a protest in front of the Hadramout Provincial Office in Mukalla city, demanding  the departure of UAE forces from Al-Rayyan airport.

They also denounced the deterioration of the local currency. The Protesters demanded re-operating of Al-Rayyan Airport.

They called for swift and serious action to stop the deterioration of the local currency and save citizens from the economic disaster.

During the protest , they  denounced the UAE’s continued disruption of civilian flights at Al-Rayyan airport in Mukalla, causing further  suffering to residents since it was transformed into a military barracks for UAE forces.
