Yemeni medical team extracts over 55 stones from girl’s gallbladder

HODEIDA, Dec. 10 (YPA) – A medical surgical team in al-Sokhna General Hospital in Hodeida province managed on Thursday to extract more than 55 stones from the gallbladder of a 20-year-old girl.

A technical director of the hospital, Khalil Al-Amiri stated that the team headed by Dr. Abdo Ali Amer, performed the operation on the girl, in which stones were extracted from the gallbladder that led to severe enlargement of the gallbladder and reached 20 centimeters in length.
