STC elements close main roads in Aden

ADEN, Dec. 10 (YPA) – A group of armed elements of the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) militia closed on Thursday several the main roads in the city of Aden, southern Yemen.

According to sources, the elements of the so-called “Fourth Battalion of the STC cut off Bir Ahmed road in al-Buraiqa area, and prevented the passage of hundreds of cars.

The sources affirmed that the move came to demand the handover of the accused people of killing the staff of the battalion, called Munir Takhtar, in the same area on Wednesday.
