Violating clashes renew in Abyan

ABYAN, Dec. 10 (YPA) – Fierce clashes renewed on Thursday between the Saudi-led coalition factions in Yemen’s southern province of Abyan, according to sources.

The sources affirmed that the clashes between the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) and Islah militants in al-Tarih area left a number of the death and the injury of the militants.

The sources added that the two party exchanged the artillery bombing in the area.

Saudi Arabia is seeking, through the implementation of the military and security aspect of the “Riyadh Agreement, which has been signed between the STC and Islah party, to hand over the city of Zanzibar, the capital of Abyan, to the security forces led by Abu Mishaal al-Kazami loyal to the Islah.
