Iranian ambassador to Yemen comments on US’s sanction decision

SANAA, Dec. 10 (YPA) – The Iranian ambassador to Sanaa, Hasan Irlou has commented on the US’s decision in which the Treasury Department sanctioned him.

The Iranian envoy thanked US President Donald Trump for imposing sanctions on him.

“I thank the gambler Trump, who in the last days of his presidency, insists on showing the true face of the US government, ” he said in a tweet on Wednesday.

“Of course, towards the goal of freeing the nations of the region from the Zionism & U.S., We are not afraid of sanctions and martyrdom, but we are proud of it,” he added.

In early November, he submitted his credentials to Mahdi al-Mashat, the president of the Supreme Political Council .
