China launches new satellite to observe Earth

SANAA, Dec. 6 (YPA) – China has successfully launched a new Earth observation satellite from Xichang Satellite Launch Center in southwest China’s Sichuan Province at 11:58 am on Sunday (Beijing time).
The “Kaufen-14” satellite was launched into orbit on a “Long March-3B” carrier missile.

Sunday’s launch marks the 354th mission of the Long March missile series.
