Senior leader killed in Abayn

ABYAN, Dec. 3 (YPA) – A military leader loyal to the Saudi-backed Islah party was killed on Thursday in Abayn provide, south of Yemen, according to sources.

The sources affirmed that the leader, in the 3th Brigade Presidential Protection, Anis Al-Shajri, was killed during the clashes with the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) militia in Tariya front.

The sources explained that one of its companions of Al-Shajri was killed and three others were injured in the clashes.

A day earlier, the spokesman the STC, Mohammad al-Naqib, revealed on Twitter also that about 10 of the Islah party militants were killed and four military vehicles were destroyed with various weapons in the confrontations in Tariya front in Zinjibar district.
