Judge assaulted by Islah militants in Taiz

TAIZ, Dec. 2 (YPA) – A judge was assaulted on Wednesday and expelled from the litigation hall in Taiz province, sources said.

The sources said that the director of the Central Prison Correctional Facility appointed by the Islah Party, Walid Al-Asali, attacked the judge“ Fadhl Al-Kamali while he was attending the Central Prison to hear on prison inmates cases.

The sources explained that “Al-Asali” used the weapon to assault Al-Kamali in Jabal Habashi court, but the attending lawyers intervened and forced the judge to leave.

Several judges in the Islah militants-held areas in Taiz city are constantly being attacked by Islah’s leaders.
