STC militias prepare to storm coast guard camp in Aden

ADEN, Dec. 2 (YPA) – Dozens of armoured vehicles and military personnel of the UAE-backed   Southern Transitional Council  (STC) were deployed Tuesday evening in the southern Yemeni city of Aden.

Informed sources confirmed, that the command of the STC directed, leaders Mohsen al-Wali, and Nabil Al-Mashoushi, at the head of a military force estimated at more than 60 armored and military crew, to storm the coast guard camp in the area of Khur Makser district.

The sources indicated that military vehicles deployed in the Caltex, to the near Aden airport.

According to the sources, the “security forces” inside the camp refused to leave, amid military reinforcements from both sides to the vicinity of  camp.

The sources added that the elements of the “STC” are trying to impose their control on the camp by force, pointing out that the military situation threatens to explode, as tension swells between armed factions in the region.
