SANAA, Dec. 1 (YPA) – Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hisham Sharaf, met on Tuesday the Resident Representative of the World Food Program (WFP), Laurent Bukera.
At the meeting, the minister listened to the details of the program activities that target more than three and a half million displaced citizens as result of the consequences of the catastrophic humanitarian situation.
The two sides reviewed the humanitarian activities being carried out by the WFP in Yemen.
Meanwhile, the WFO official indicated that the program would make more effort to deliver aid to the Yemeni people, noting the problem of lack of funding by donors that affects the program’s plans to provide aid due to the humanitarian disaster that Yemen is going through.
