ABYAN, Dec. 1 (YPA) – Saudi occupation forces have sent new military reinforcements through al-Wadeia port in Hadhramaut, eastern Yemen.
According to informed sources, more than 150 armoured personnel carriers, tanks and qualitative weapons were seen heading towards the international road leading to Aden and Abyan provinces.
The sources suggested that the military reinforcements will be handed over to al-Islah militants, who are engaged in bloody clashes with the UAE-backed Southern Transitional” militia in Abyan, under the banner of the so-called “National Army”.
Military observers believe that Saudi reinforcements may be aimed at arming the so-called Ansar al-Mahdi, a terrorist organization in Abyan province, based in Shuqrah and Arakoub.
In November, Saudi Arabia sent weapons and military vehicles to al-Qaeda operatives in Abyan.
