Senior official survives assassination in Taiz

TAIZ, May 22 (YPA) –  An undersecretary of Taiz loyal to the Saudi-led coalition survived an assassination attempt on Tuesday in the province, local official reported.

Gunmen opened a fire at car of Aref Gamal, who was appointed by Saudi-led backed Bin Daghrs’ authorities as undersecretary of the province, but he survived and three bodyguards was wounded in the incident.

Taiz city has seen a security disorder and a series of assassination targeting politicians, military and civilians in light of failure the coalition-backed authorities three.
