Tribal attack targets coalition forces in Marib

MARIB, Nov. 23 (YPA) – Fierce clashes erupted on Monday between Marib tribes and the Saudi-led coalition forces in the city, according to sources.

The sources affirmed that gunmen from Jahm tribe led by sheikh Naji Abdullah Toaiman attacked a military point belonging to the so-called Special Forces loyal to the coalition in Al-Zour area between the city of Marib and Serwah district.

A number of the coalition forces were killed and wounded during the attack.

According to the sources, the city of Marib has been witnessing great tension between the Jahm tribes and the coalition forces, hours after armed clashes between the two parties.
