Report: Army carries out military offensives targeting Saudi troops over 24 hours

SANAA, May 21 (YPA) – The Yemen army has waged military offensives on Saudi soldiers and militias’ sites and gatherings on battle fronts over the past 24 hours, according to Ansar Allah Media Center statement received by Yemen Press Agency on Monday.  

·         Coalition media admitted killing a soldier and injuring four by the fires of the Yemen army in beyond border fronts.

·         In southern Saudi province of Jizan:

The army repelled an infiltration of Saudi army and its militias in M.B.C mount, killing and wounding dozens.

 A Saudi military vehicle was destroyed during repelling the infiltration.

Artillery and missile shelling targeted gatherings of Saudi soldiers in Ghawia and Qull-Shaikh.

·         In Najran southern province:

A Saudi military vehicle was destroyed by a guided missile in the west of Sudais site.

Artillery shells were fired toward Saudi soldiers’ gatherings in Hasn-Hamad and Nahuqa site.

Two of militias were killed in Boqea front.

12.7 caliber weapon of Saudi army was smashed in Shabaka site by artillery shells.

·         In Asir border Saudi province:

Two of Saudi-backed militias were killed in Boqea front.

·         In Hajjah province:

Air defenses of Yemeni army shot down a reconnaissance plane in Nar mount in Haradh district.

Artillery shelling targeted gatherings of the militias in the north of Medi desert.

·         In Taiz province:

A militias’ advance was repelled in west coast front, inflicted the militias heavy losses.

Two of the militias was shot dead in Osaifrah front.

·         In Jawf province:

a Militia was killed in Maslub district by the army’s fires.

·         In Bayda province:

A Saudi-backed militia was killed by the fires of the army in Qaniah front.
