SANAA, Nov. 21 (YPA) – The Secretary of the Fatah Central Committee, Jibril Rajoub, stressed, on Friday evening, that all Palestinian forces are aware of the importance of ending the state of division.
Rajoub added in a televised interview, that the Palestinian dialogue is related to the political split with establishing the state, and the struggle over the resistance.
He pointed out that the Cairo meeting between Fatah and Hamas was good, and we approached the meeting point despite the wide distances, explaining that the Cairo meeting discussed the smallest details.
He expressed his hope to resume dialogue as soon as possible to eliminate the gaps, stressing that the path of dialogue is a strategic decision for us as the only way to establish our Palestinian state.
Rajoub added that “the Cairo dialogue was positive, and the Fatah movement was not condemned for the failure to reach an agreement on the elections and the situation in Gaza,” noting that Hamas is essentially adhering to the path of partnership, ending the division and going to a democratic process.
