Two killed in explosion at US veterans’ hospital

SANAA, Nov. 14 (YPA) – At least two people were killed and a third missing in an explosion at a Veterans Affairs hospital in Connecticut, officials said.

An explosion occurred in a maintenance building at the Veterans Affairs Hospital on  Friday in Virginia, where a staff member and a contractor were killed and a third person still missing, The Associated Press reported, citing local officials.

Federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration spokesman Jim Lally said authorities have opened an investigation into the cause of the accident.
