Fierce clashes renewed in Abayn

ABYAN, Nov. 11 (YPA) – Fierce clashes renewed on Wednesday between the Saudi-led coalition factions in Yemen’s southern province of Abyan, according to sources.

The sources said the clashed erupted between the militia of the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC), and the Islah Party’s militants in Zinjibar district.

The attack came after the head of the so-called “National Assembly for the STC, Ahmed Saeed bin Borik, tweeted on Tuesday that the leaders of the STC militia on the Abyan fronts have to implement “Plan B” that has not reveal its content yet.

On Tuesday, the STC militias were inflicted heavy casualties in the clashes between the two sides in the same district.
