MARIB, Nov. 10 (YPA) – The Yemeni army took on Tuesday control of Raghwan district of Marib province, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.
The official affirmed that the control of the district and its security came after fierce battles broke out between the army and Saudi-led coalition forces, which led to control of the district that counts the eighth among Marib districts.
The army forces could take over areas of Masouda” and “Umm al-Naja, northwest of the district.
According to the official, the coalition forces were inflicted heavy casualties during the operation in the district.
