SANAA, Nov. 10 (YPA) – Parliamentary elections on Tuesday morning began in Jordan, as voters went to the polls to choose the members of the nineteenth parliament.
The polling process continues until seven in the evening.
“The number of voters who are entitled to participate in the general parliamentary elections of the Nineteenth Council is 4,647,835 million male and female voters.”
The Independent Commission for the Jordanian Elections, through its website, lists the final names of the electoral lists of candidates, as the number of final lists reached 294, and the number of candidates within these lists was 1674, of whom 1314 were males and 360 were females, while the number of those who withdrew from the parliamentary elections reached 34 candidates.
