Islah Party’s militias block streets, causing chaos in Taiz

TAIZ, Nov. 04 (YPA) – Islah Party’s militias in Taiz province continued on Wednesday cutting off most of the city’s streets and causing chaos and violence acts in the areas they control for the third day in a row.

Blocking roads with burning tires was accompanied by the spread of gunmen and armored vehicles belonging to the Islah militia, local sources said.

The sources indicated that the chaos acts in Taiz came against the backdrop of disagreements between leaders in the Islah Party after the killing of a son of the Islah’s leading member Amin Abdo Saeed early this week.

On Tuesday, clashes erupted between Islah factions at the branch of Taiz University in ‘Al-Turbah city, without knowing the reasons.
