Islah militias assign teachers to fight on battle fronts

LAHJ, Nov. 3 (YPA) – An official document revealed on Tuesday that teachers loyal to the Saudi-backed Islah militia were assigned to take part and fight on battle front on Tor al-Baha area of Lahj province.

The document issued by a commander of the so-called 4th Mountain Infantry Brigade, Brigadier General “Abu Bakr al-Jabbuli”, requested the local council’s officials in Al-Maqatera district to assign 11 teachers for the brigade and allow them to continue their work at the front.

The document clarified the approval of local council, which directed the Education Department in the district to facilitate the tasks of teachers required to be assigned to the battle fronts.

Educational sources in the district expressed their concerns about these measures, which would negatively affect students in the event of teachers returning to exert educational process.
